In 2015, the National Markets and Competition Commission (CNMC) sanctioned 21 car manufacturers, and two companies that acted as intermediaries, for committing a very serious infringement of art. 1 of Law 15/2007, of July 3, on the Defense of Competition and art. 101 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, for the adoption of agreements on price fixing, thus altering the market.

As experts, we recommend those affected to claim to avoid future dismissals, the first step being to verify that certain requirements are met, especially that you keep documentation.

Although STS 532/2021 established the date of April 20 as the claim deadline of one year from the time it was issued, there is still hope depending on who the manufacturer of your car is.

This is due to the fact that the SSTS that affected each manufacturer were issued on different dates and makes the deadlines for claiming different depending on the manufacturer;
